Anton is a great guide who blends a huge amount of information with interesting insights. What we particularly liked was the fact that he took the time to understand our interest areas, even asking the kids if they have anything particular in mind. Hearing his personal experiences growing up in changing times and the changes over the years, blended into all the information he was sharing made the tour very real and gave us an insight into a place that you can’t just read about in a book.
We spent a day with him touring the main sights of Moscow including the Kremlin. We did a metro tour with him that had us gin smacked and it was nice to get the small insights on the most favoured statues that people touch as a lucky charm in the station or the changes made to mosaics over the years.
Anton has highly recommended the Bunker visit and we are so glad we went ahead with his recommendation. He was at hand to translate the information given by the person accompanying us there. The Bunker was the absolute highlight of our entire summer and seeing the awe struck expressions on our kids faces made the climbing up and down 43m totally worth it.
Would highly recommend Anton as your guide if you want a fun-filled, yet informative experience in Moscow from a person who grew up there and knows the city well.
